"Do you remember when ...?"

Flowers Canapés

When someone dear to you dies, there is usually a funeral. It’s an opportunity for people to pay their respects and polish up their memories. The problem is that there’s rarely a way to plan ahead for this event (although we have had at least one client who actually planned their own funeral!)

With usually only a few days to put together something for the friends and family who will attend, it often makes a stressful time, even more stressful. This really is the time you want a sympathetic hand – and one that isn’t caught up in the emotions of the situation.

You won’t be able to get RSVPs for a funeral function – and Morestan are experienced in ensuring that there’s plenty for everyone without breaking the bank.

This means that when someone says ‘Do you remember when ...?’ you can join in the reminiscences instead of rushing off to see if the sausage rolls are burning!

Morestan Event Management and Catering can provide anything from a few nibbles to a substantial repast and serve tea and cakes or champagne and wine. You choose what you want, then you can safely forget about the catering and leave it to experts. Call us on 01245 494087 and tell us what you want – then just leave it to us.

Thank you so much for the marvellous catering you did for my husband’s memorial service. You were very attuned to our needs and made everything go very smoothly.

Simple preparation
  • To make skinning tomatoes easy, cut an 'X' in the bottom of the tomatoes and place in boiling water until the skins start to split, Immediately plunge the tomatoes into icy water and leave to cool. The skin should now peel off like magic!
  • To peel peppers place them under the grill until the skin starts to burn. Leave until warm then place in a plastic bag for at least an hour – after this the skin should come off effortlessly.
