  • When cooking baked applies plug the top and bottom with a small piece of marzipan – this keeps all the filling in place.
  • Once strawberries have been picked don’t put them near water – they’ll become soggy and tasteless.
  • Bring out the flavour of strawberries when cooking them by adding a touch of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice to the recipe.
