Creative celebrations

Canapés

Whether you're planning a dinner for two for a special occasion, a summer barbeque or hog roast, a fancy dress party, a christening, wedding anniversary or special birthday – there's always plenty to do in advance – by the time the party comes around you can feel more like sleeping than celebrating!

And if you're celebrating the life of someone close to you who has passed on, the last thing you need to be worrying about is if you’ve got enough food and drink for the extra 20 people who you didn’t know were coming.

If you've got a celebration coming up give us a call on 01245 494087 and we'll ensure that you really feel like celebrating!

We and our American relatives were very impressed with the way you organised each part of the day in a way that people did not notice, yet you were there when we needed you. You were excellent at reading my eye signals!!!

Top tips
from the chef
Tasty and tender
  • To make your own marinade for pork use a tablespoon of honey mixed with grated ginger (sweet and spicy).
  • To tenderise meat cover it with slices of kiwi or pineapple for 10-15 minutes before cooking. Remove the fruit to cook.
  • If you like garlic and want to bring up the taste of lamb rub some garlic cloves over the skin and baste it with vinegar half way through cooking.
