Wedding cake Champagne Wedding flowers

Your wedding is special – people say it's the most important day of your life – and everyone approaches this momentous occasion differently. Some couples love the planning and making all those decisions about the guest list, the invitations, the flowers, the hair stylists, the menu, entertainment, etc., etc. Others dread the long-term plan where all their free time is going to disappear into the events of just one day.

The problem is that, for most people, they won't have done anything like this before – and there is a lot to remember – and plenty that can be overlooked.

You’ll find that Morestan Event Management and Catering will help you with the parts you really don't want to be stressed about and let you do what you want to. If your best friend is a caterer, that's fine, you can still hire Morestan to co-ordinate your day. The aim is to create an event that you'll have the energy to enjoy, instead of being exhausted from the months of planning and stress of last minute hitches.

Finger buffets, sit down meals, nibbles during the disco and waitress service canapés – whatever type of wedding you really want; we’ve even served fish and chips from the bride's local chippy, beautifully served with silver service mushy peas!

And if you've got a theme in mind we can work with that too.

Give us a call on 01245 494087 and we'll do the production while you are the star of the show!

The food was delicious and exactly right for a summer's day and so discreetly and professionally served. The little touches and other helpful extras too numerous to mention all contributed to a great afternoon and evening. Your guidance with the planning and superb organisation on the day were invaluable.

Top tips

Cooked, not charred!
  • Place the red meat close to the charcoal or in the centre of the barbeque grill and the chicken and other white meat on the sides or higher up and keep rotating and turning your food to avoid the nasty burnt bits.
  • Soak wooden kebab skewers in water for 20 minutes before cooking to prevent them burning.
  • Cook fish last – it will only take a few minutes.
