Food for Focus

When the team are round the table and there's a lot to get through, lunch can be an interruption. However, empty tums take the mind off business, so food is important – and it helps the brains remain sharp!

Whether your team are participating in a sales meeting, a board meeting, a marketing brainstorming session, a product development planning session – or something else, you'll find that ordering in the kind of lunch that keeps everyone's mind on business is a real bonus.

If you let people go back to their desks there's a real danger of them trying to catch up with a whole morning's email and losing their focus – sometimes returning late and keeping everyone waiting. If you can shorten the lunch break and provide on the spot sustenance you'll have a better chance of hitting the afternoon session running!

You can order in breakfast too for early morning meetings; our bacon baps and fruit skewers are irresistible!

You can choose a carb-fest or a healthy selection of crudités, dips and fresh fruit; wraps, rolls or sandwiches. Call us on 01245 494087, choose what your team like best and then you can forget about food and focus on results.

Break out the bubbly!
  • To chill champagne quickly just add a handful of salt to the water and ice in the bucket and the bottles should chill in 15-20 minutes (this works for wine and beer too).
  • Magnums will generally be of superior quality to the wine in smaller bottles as the ratio of wine to air is greater. If you have enough guests buy bigger bottles – and it looks good too!
  • Bring out the expensive wines first and save the cheaper stuff when everyone has had a few; their palates won’t notice!
  • When pouring champagne, pour a little into the bottom of each glass first and then top up. This saves overflow and wasting all the bubbly!
